To promote safe boating for youth that wish to operate power-driven vessels like RIBs, jon boats, jet-skis, fishing boats and other small vessels, the UYC Maritime Foundation has partnered with America’s Boating Club Atlanta, a division of the United Staes Power Squadrons national organization to deliver their America’s Boating Course. For youth ages 12-16 years old, the Foundation will pay the course fee for any student that passes the one-day, classroom-based course with ABCA. To sign up, simply go to the ABCA website by clicking the image below and sign up for the course. Note on your sign-up that you would like to use the UYC Maritime Foundation scholarship to pay for the course.
