The UYC Junior Sail Safety Program is benchmarked among the strongest in the nation. From very low coach : student ratios, mandatory life jacket wear, helmets when conditions warrant, to prop guards on dinghies and mandatory US Sailing certification for coaches and many more precautions, we aim to provide an exceptional experience while maintaining an outstanding safety record!
