The UYC Junior Sailing Program is more than 15 years old. With a reputation as “the fun place to learn to sail” on Lake Lanier by juniors from 6-16 years of age, we have an amazing program that has seen the development of more than 500 junior sailors and two dozen US Sailing certified coaches over the years.
Sailors learn to sail in Optis and soon graduate to other boat types in our stable of ~40 boats that includes Lasers, 420s, Holdens, Sunfish and more as their skills develop and interests align. Our very low student to coach ration ensures everyone learns, everyone has fun and everyone stays safe.
Below is the link for the documentation you will need to fill out and submit in order to register for either of the two Junior Sailing weeks at University Yacht Club this Summer. We can’t wait to meet you our see you again!
