The Junior Sail Program, hosted each summer at University Yacht Club, introduces young sailors to the fundamentals of seamanship, confidence, and sportsmanship—often sparking a lifelong connection to the lake.
The Foundation also supports a vibrant Regatta Program, including hallmark events such as the Fall Lanier Cup and the Winter “Hot Ruddered Bum,” which bring sailors together in spirited competition and celebrate the camaraderie that defines this community.
Beyond the water, the Foundation invests in the next generation through its Scholarship Program for local students, helping young leaders pursue their academic and personal goals, as well as additional support for local charities.
