These numbers reflect the scale of our work, but the true impact reaches far beyond the metrics. Many of our junior sailors return summer after summer—some for more than a decade—growing from beginners who have never stepped aboard a sailboat to confident, capable US Sailing–certified coaches. Their time on the water becomes a defining part of their youth, shaping college essays, opening doors to new opportunities, and instilling the confidence and character that carry into every part of their lives.
Our Scholarship Program, delivered in partnership with the Shoff Foundation, has awarded more than 60 academic scholarships to graduating seniors at Flowery Branch and West Hall High Schools who are pursuing higher education. These scholarships, available through school counselors, help local students take their next steps with support, encouragement, and a connection to a community that believes in their potential.
